HYGIENE and SAFETY
At KAMI .TATTOO studio, hygiene and safety are an essential part of every tattoo. The studio is carefully cleaned and disinfected between clients, and all work surfaces and equipment are prepared before every appointment.
Single-use equipment
I use individually packaged, sterile, single-use needles and cartridges. They are immediately and safely disposed of after each client.
Clean and protected workspace
All surfaces and equipment that may come into contact during the tattooing process are cleaned, disinfected and protected with appropriate barriers.
Safe tattooing practices
Fresh gloves are used throughout the procedure and changed whenever necessary. Every tattoo is performed with professional products and hygienic working practices.
Aftercare
Before you leave, you'll receive clear instructions on how to take care of your new tattoo and support proper healing.
BEFORE YOUR TATTOO
1. Get a good night's sleep and eat a proper meal before your appointment. If you have a longer session, bring a snack with you.
2. Stay hydrated and avoid alcohol before your tattoo session.
3. Please arrive with clean skin and avoid applying creams, oils or self-tanner to the area.
4. Wear comfortable, preferably dark clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area - tattoo ink can permanently stain fabrics.
AFTER YOUR TATTOO
1. Keep your tattoo clean and follow the aftercare instructions provided at the studio.
2. Avoid swimming, saunas and soaking the tattoo while it is healing.
3. Avoid direct sunlight and don't pick or scratch the healing skin.
4. Once healed, protect your tattoo from the sun with SPF.
